Interest in Ethereum has expanded beyond technologists and enthusiasts, bringing enterprises, governments, and everyday users who seek practical solutions and tangible benefits. The Ethereum ecosystem is adapting to meet these needs, and the Ethereum Foundation is ready to play its part.<\/p>\n<p class=\"chakra-text css-gi02ar\">As outlined in the <a class=\"chakra-link css-vezwxf\" href=\"https:\/\/blog.ethereum.org\/2025\/04\/28\/ef-vision\">Ethereum Foundation\u2019s recent vision statement<\/a>, we have two key goals:<\/p>\n<ol role=\"list\" class=\"css-vgl4zd\">\n<li class=\"css-0\">Maximizing the number of people who (directly or indirectly) use Ethereum, in such a way that they benefit from Ethereum\u2019s underlying values.<\/li>\n<li class=\"css-0\">Maximizing the resilience of Ethereum\u2019s technical and social infrastructure.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p class=\"chakra-text css-gi02ar\">Ecosystem Development (EcoDev) refers to teams that help achieve these goals at an ecosystem or social level, rather than a technology level. This team will support EF teams with their grant giving initiatives, help review some grant applications, and manage relationships with grantees.<\/li>\n<li class=\"css-0\"><strong>Strategic Funding Initiatives<\/strong>: Co-funding vital public goods organizations benefiting the broader Ethereum ecosystem.<\/li>\n<li class=\"css-0\"><strong>Launchpad<\/strong>: Assisting organizations with operational design, sustainable funding, governance and other challenges.
