As the Ethereum ecosystem continues to grow and mature at break-neck speeds, we continue to work hard on delivering an amazing Devcon 6. Though the timing is still unclear as to when we\u2019ll all be able to reunite in Bogota, we want to keep our community involved along the Road to Devcon! In an effort to do this, we\u2019re announcing Road to Devcon Quests!<\/p>\n

<\/g><\/svg><\/a>What are Quests?<\/h2>\n

Road to Devcon Quests<\/em> are periodic engagements for our community to continually collaborate, contribute, and learn. For each Quest, you\u2019ll have the opportunity to earn a POAP<\/a> badge representing your participation \u2014 see how many you can collect!<\/p>\n

Upcoming Quests are listed on Devcon.org<\/a>, and we welcome community-initiated Quests as well \u2014 if you have an idea for a community Quest, share it in our RTD Discord server<\/a>!<\/p>\n

<\/g><\/svg><\/a>Kicking off Quests with EthStaker<\/h2>\n

To kick off the first of these Quests, we’ve decided to team up with the EthStaker Community<\/a> for a series of fun online events on the Road to Devcon.<\/p>\n

The EthStaker community is no stranger to the Ethereum ecosystem. They\u2019ve become one of the canonical communities for Ethereum staking. The EthStaker crew regularly hosts events to help educate the community with the goal of lowering the technical barrier to entry in addition to welcoming more people into the world of solo and pooled staking.<\/p>\n

The excitement of Devcon has inspired the EthStaker community to host two online events to compete for bragging rights, POAPs, and Devcon tickets. Each event listed below is open for anyone to participate, and the more you participate, the more chances you will have to win a ticket to Devcon.<\/p>\n

<\/g><\/svg><\/a>Painting Party: 29 May, 2021<\/h2>\n

POAP.art<\/a> is the newest experiment by POAP, and it sits at the intersection of art and technology. POAP.art is an interactive digital canvas that allows artists of all skill levels to collaborate with one another, to make original pieces of pixel art, and mint them as NFTs effectively cementing your art digitally on the blockchain forever.<\/p>\n

The POAP.art canvas will be open for anyone to use for 1-hour during a livestream on YouTube. While you\u2019re dropping pixels, we will be hearing from Devcon and EthStaker community members providing lite commentary while we watch the canvas fill up.<\/p>\n

In order to participate, you will just need to be present during the Livestream<\/a> and obtain your \u2018Painting Party Viewer\u2019 POAP<\/em>, which grants you access to the POAP.art Canvas. All who are present during the Painting Party Livestream will receive this POAP, and all who drop at least one pixel on the POAP.art canvas will receive a \u2018Painting Party Pixel Dropper\u2019 POAP<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Following the Painting Party the EthStaker crew will host a double-header POAP.fun<\/a> Raffle. Round 1 is eligible to those who hold any past Devcon POAPs, or who is an Beacon Chain Genesis Depositor. Round 2 is eligible to those who hold the Painting Party Viewer or Pixel Dropper POAP. Winners of the raffles will secure participant seats for the following Devcon Trivia Game.<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/g><\/svg><\/a>Devcon Trivia Game: 10 July, 2021<\/h2>\n

Trivia Games are a staple within the EthStaker community and are an incredibly fun experience. All are welcome to participate during the Livestream Play-Along<\/a> hosted on the EthStaker website, while those who won Trivia Game seats compete against each other in a live Trivia Game played using the Kahoot!<\/em> platform. Participants are asked a series of questions ranging from general Ethereum knowledge, Devcon history, and everything in between.<\/p>\n

The participant with the highest scores will win tickets to Devcon and bragging rights. There will be four available POAPs for this event; the viewer, the Play-Along participant, participant, and the winner.<\/p>\n
