We&#8217;re seeing more demand from smaller language communities so we&#8217;ve added more regional languages to Crowdin.<\/p>\n<p class=\"chakra-text css-gi02ar\">Our goal is to make ethereum.org more accessible for users around the world, regardless of language and location. As seen below, the pageviews of translated pages reached nearly 20% of total unique pageviews in February but it has declined to 10% in recent months.<\/p>\n<p class=\"chakra-text css-gi02ar\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.ethereum.org\/images\/posts\/upload_f9b78701045ad3d5e63d1dca4f516178.png\" class=\"chakra-image css-hw6q2r\"\/><\/p>\n<p class=\"chakra-text css-gi02ar\">We believe that this is because we\u2019ve expanded our English content <em class=\"chakra-text css-0\">so much<\/em> over the past couple of months that translated content has become outdated. So we&#8217;re making the following changes:<\/p>\n<ul role=\"list\" class=\"css-1ars4k6\">\n<li class=\"css-0\">If a page isn&#8217;t available in your chosen language, we&#8217;ll display the English content alongside the banner below (which will be translated in your chosen language). This means you&#8217;ll always be seeing the most up-to-date content, even if we haven&#8217;t been able to translate it yet.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"chakra-text css-gi02ar\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.ethereum.org\/images\/posts\/upload_b0a1a5eaaa5abbc02c70e1f71e57165c.png\" class=\"chakra-image css-hw6q2r\"\/><\/p>\n<ul role=\"list\" class=\"css-1ars4k6\">\n<li class=\"css-0\">If there have been English updates to a page you&#8217;re viewing in your chosen language, we&#8217;ll offer you the chance to view the new English content. That way, you&#8217;ll know that there is new information that has not yet been translated.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"chakra-text css-gi02ar\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.ethereum.org\/images\/posts\/upload_94e9a54ccc43f23a62ba910c833da054.png\" class=\"chakra-image css-hw6q2r\"\/><\/p>\n<p class=\"chakra-text css-gi02ar\">Our content changes are often more than just copy changes. The previously translated content in old versions are saved in our project\u2019s Translation Memory. This will be used to speed up the translation of the new versions by pre-translating the same or similar strings.<\/p>\n<ul role=\"list\" class=\"css-1ars4k6\">\n<li class=\"css-0\"><strong>Updating new versions: v.2.x<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"chakra-text css-gi02ar\">As mentioned, to translate all new content, we\u2019ve split things up into a few minor versions: v.2.0, v.2.1, and v,2.2. We\u2019ve given those numbers in the order of priority. We encourage you to translate the lowest version first, and to work your way up to higher versions.
