While the site pointed users to extensive third-party resources, it lacked a compelling path that would pull a developer towards immediately <em class=\"chakra-text css-0\">trying out<\/em> Ethereum.<\/p>\n<p class=\"chakra-text css-gi02ar\">Ethereum Studio\u2019s purpose is to let developers get started building on Ethereum within minutes, with as little friction as possible. Studio lets users:<\/p>\n<ul role=\"list\" class=\"css-1ars4k6\">\n<li class=\"css-0\">Write and test smart contracts in the browser<\/li>\n<li class=\"css-0\">Connect smart contracts to a front-end web app<\/li>\n<li class=\"css-0\">Bootstrap their app with 3 template tutorials<\/li>\n<li class=\"css-0\">Share your project in a single click<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"chakra-text css-gi02ar\">Along with the Studio itself, we\u2019ve added a new <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" class=\"chakra-link css-vezwxf\" href=\"https:\/\/ethereum.org\/build\">\u201c<\/a><a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" class=\"chakra-link css-vezwxf\" href=\"https:\/\/ethereum.org\/build\">Getting Started<\/a><a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" class=\"chakra-link css-vezwxf\" href=\"https:\/\/ethereum.org\/build\">\u201d<\/a> page to the Developer section. This is a more beginner friendly landing page for developers, which introduces the Studio and provides links to other web-based learning experiences.<\/p>\n<p class=\"chakra-text css-gi02ar\">The goal of Studio isn\u2019t to replace or compete with the extensive web-based learning experiences already available for Ethereum. Instead, we want Studio to be an easy first-step to engage a developer and get them hooked before directing them to other resources, tools, or events to continue their journey into Ethereum.<\/p>\n<p class=\"chakra-text css-gi02ar\">To build Ethereum Studio, we collaborated with <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" class=\"chakra-link css-vezwxf\" href=\"http:\/\/superblocks.com\/\">Superblocks<\/a>. We can\u2019t thank the Superblocks team enough for the hard work they\u2019ve put into this tool. We also want to thank many others who made this project possible: Andreas Wallendahl, Chris Ward, Robbie Bent, Martin Tellechea, and the many people who provided feedback and suggestions.<\/p>\n<p class=\"chakra-text css-gi02ar\">Ethereum Studio is open-source, and all of the code is available <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" class=\"chakra-link css-vezwxf\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/SuperblocksHQ\/ethereum-studio\">here<\/a>. We\u2019ll be continuing to improve the Studio over time, and already have many improvements planned for v 1.1. This means analyzing keyword search volume, looking at site traffic, considering the user personas used by comparable websites, and talking to our users.<\/p>\n<p class=\"chakra-text css-gi02ar\">This process has lead us to simplify the top-level organization of Ethereum.org, to be organized around three core personas:<\/p>\n<ul role=\"list\" class=\"css-1ars4k6\">\n<li class=\"css-0\"><strong>Individuals:<\/strong> individual ETH holders, users, and community members<\/li>\n<li class=\"css-0\"><strong>Developers:<\/strong> developers, or anyone with a technical interest in Ethereum<\/li>\n<li class=\"css-0\"><strong>Enterprise:<\/strong> enterprises, businesses, and other organizations who want to understand how Ethereum can benefit them.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"chakra-text css-gi02ar\">This simple organization captures nearly all of the user journeys we considered in our research. So far, it\u2019s been a huge success &#8211; we received submissions for every bounty, and the majority of these changes have already been integrated into the site.
