Crypto entrepreneur Justin Sun says he\u2019s filed a lawsuit against World Liberty Financial, alleging the project improperly froze his tokens and stripped his governance rights.<\/p>\n
Sun detailed the move in a new post<\/a> on X.<\/p>\n \u201cToday, I filed a lawsuit in California federal court against World Liberty Financial to protect my legal rights as a holder of WLFI tokens.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n According to Sun, the conflict stems from actions taken by individuals associated with the project.<\/p>\n \u201cThey wrongfully froze all of my tokens, stripped me of my right to vote on governance proposals, and have threatened to permanently destroy my tokens by \u2018burning\u2019 them\u2014all without any proper justification\u2026<\/em><\/p>\n I have tried in good faith to resolve this situation\u2026 But the project team has refused my requests\u2026 They have left me with no choice but to turn to the courts.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n Sun says the dispute does not reflect a shift in his political stance.<\/p>\n \u201cI have always been\u2014and remain\u2014an ardent supporter of President Trump and his Administration\u2019s efforts to make America crypto friendly.
