Bloomberg <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2026-05-10\/drw-backed-digital-asset-raising-money-at-2-billion-valuation\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">cited<\/a> people familiar with the matter, while Digital Asset and a16z crypto did not comment on the report.<\/p>\n<p>    <!-- .cn-block-related-link --><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Canton Network draws institutional attention<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Canton Network is designed for tokenized assets, payments, and settlement activity where privacy is required. Its model allows institutions to share selected transaction data while keeping sensitive details private.<\/p>\n<p>That privacy focus has helped Canton attract major financial names. Visa joined Canton Network as a Super Validator in March 2026 and added Canton to its stablecoin settlement pilot in April.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, the reported round would follow Digital Asset\u2019s $135 million <a href=\"https:\/\/www.canton.network\/canton-network-press-releases\/digital-asset-raises-135-million-to-accelerate-adoption-of-canton-network\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">raise<\/a> in June 2025. That funding was backed by DRW Venture Capital, Tradeweb Markets, <a href=\"https:\/\/crypto.news\/yzi-labs-joins-goldman-sachs-citadel-in-135m-canton-network-push\/\" target=\"_blank\">Goldman Sachs<\/a>, Citadel Securities, DTCC, and other financial firms.<\/p>\n<p>Digital Asset also raised $50 million in December 2025 from investors including <a href=\"https:\/\/crypto.news\/goldman-sachs-bny-mellon-launch-tokenized-money-market-funds-on-blockchain\/\" target=\"_blank\">BNY Mellon<\/a>, Nasdaq, S&amp;P Global, and iCapital, according to prior reports. The new round would mark a larger vote of confidence in Canton\u2019s role in institutional blockchain infrastructure.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>DTCC and tokenized assets add context<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The funding talks come as DTCC prepares to test tokenized securities activity. As previously <a href=\"https:\/\/crypto.news\/dtcc-lines-up-50-giants-for-tokenized-securities-launch\/\" target=\"_blank\">reported<\/a>, DTCC has said it plans to pilot tokenized versions of some assets it custodies, with testing expected in July and a wider launch targeted for October.<\/p>\n<p>Canton has also gained links with Moody\u2019s, Japan Securities Clearing Corporation, and Swiss crypto bank <a href=\"https:\/\/crypto.news\/swiss-bank-amina-brings-canton-coin-into-regulated-finance\/\" target=\"_blank\">Amina<\/a>.
