We are pleased to share that pcaversaccio (pc)<\/a> has joined the Ethereum Foundation Board.<\/p>\n

pc is a long time contributor to the Ethereum ecosystem, a co-founder and lead of SEAL 911<\/a>, and has been a member of the EF’s Silviculture Society<\/a>, which provides informal counsel to EF aimed at sustaining the core values of censorship resistance, open source, privacy, and security.<\/p>\n

pcaversaccio authored The Ethereum Cypherpunk Manifesto<\/em><\/a>, a 2024 adaptation of Eric Hughes’ A Cypherpunk’s Manifesto<\/em> applied to Ethereum, Ethereum Privacy: The Road to Self-Sovereignty<\/em><\/a> (2025) and has helped advance security practices across the ecosystem through technical contributions and community advocacy.<\/p>\n

The current board members now include Aya Miyaguchi (President)<\/strong>, Vitalik Buterin (Founder)<\/strong>, Patrick Storchenegger (Swiss counsel)<\/strong> and pcaversaccio<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

As expressed in the EF Mandate<\/a> released earlier this year, the EF board sets the vision, and oversees that the high-level strategies and decisions by management are aligned with the Foundation\u2019s values. The board acts as a security council to protect the heart and soul of EF, as well as ensuring its compliance as a Swiss foundation.<\/p>\n

pc joins the Board for an initial one-year term and on a voluntary basis, and we look forward to working together to help steward Ethereum’s long term future.<\/p>\n
